There is virtually no difference between PGDM and MBA. The institutes/b-schools which are run by Universities or affiliated under any University can run MBA program as a part of the rule by UGC. But, in case of institutes/b-schools which are autonomous by status and are approved by AICTE, Govt. of India can offer PGDM program.
